Projection  i+j+k along vector j is 1 .

Step-by-step explanation:

let a vector be i+j+k   , b vector be j  ,

If θ is the angle between a & b

then the projection of a on b

=\frac{(|a | |b| cosθ)}{|b|}                which can be written as

=  \frac{a.b}{|b|}            ...........eq 1

a.b = (i+j+k  ) . (j)

    = 1

|b| = 1

using eq 1

projection =     1/1

                     = 1
