HCl

Acid ===> Blue litmus paper turns into red .

Base ===> Red litmus paper turns into red .

( base ) Phenolphthalein ===> Turns colourless

( acid ) Methyl orange ===> Turns red .

2) Zinc metal

Reaction if acids and bases with metals .

It forms acidic nature ( non - metals ) .

Liberates Hydrogen gas by making "PoP" sound .

Reaction :- 2Cl + Zn ===> ZnCl2 + HE↑

3) Solid Sodium Carbonate ( NaCo3 )

Acids react with metal sodium carbonate or metal hydrogen carbonate ( NaHCo3 ) it gives rise to salt , water and carbondioxide .
