Explanation:
The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wassallam) said, "This (Bedouin) came to me while I was asleep, and he took my sword stealthily. I woke up while he was standing by my head, holding my sword without its sheath. ... This is how the Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wassallam) treated his personal enemies.
You are right about the Prophet peace be upon him. What he went through we will never know and never fully appreciate. The sacrifices he made we will never be able to. It's a miracle he was not killed by his enemies. The Qur'an testifies to his noble character. The Qur'an also briefly mentions hIs trials and tribulations. His prophethood was most difficult. Yet he never waivered in his faith in God Almighty. Muslims today who are born muslims do not appreciate the Prophet peace be upon him or his sacrifices. They are muslims in name only. Occasionally they'll pray and give charity. Pride and arrogance are now their garments. They believe that by simply being muslims, God will favour them and grant them paradise. Many do not even believe that they will die and stand in front of their Lord to account for their deeds. Sure they'll march on the streets and threaten war and mayhem when some idiot draws a cartoon of the Prophet peace be upon him. But those same people will abuse their wives, indulge in adultery, devour interest, cheat their fellow human beings, are cruel to animals, indulge in gambling, kill innocent human beings, plant bombs to cause injury, death and mayhem, feign being religious, destroy their environment, show apathy in prayer, lose trust in God, drink alcohol to the point of losing their humanity, are proud and vain, jealous of their fellow human beings, ill-treat their parents and children, wear religious garb. Take your pick of any combination of these. Muslims should study the Qur'an and follow its teachings and reflect on the conduct and character of the Prophet peace be upon him and put their trust in God
