You're answer to the following question is, B) Capsid.
The viral particles have protein coating called capsid. A virus consists of two parts- the first one being a nuceloid (neared DNA with histone proteins) and a capsid. An envelope is present covering the virus in some cases. A few of the enzymes are also known to occur occasionally inside the viral particle or virus.

The capsid of the viral particle is sheath or a coat covering the virus, it is a protienaceous covering (consist proteins) around the viral particle which evenly protects the nucleoid inside the virus from imminent damage from physical agents and chemical agents causing the nucleoid to get non-functional (in case of viruses not having a layer of capsid). The capsid consists of a number of subunits called as capsomeres or capsomers as, they all collectively form the capsid. The capsid of a tobacco mosaic virus or TMV has 2130 capsomeres or capsomers making up a capsid layer around the TMV virus. In binal bacteriophages (bacteria infesting viruses) the capsid sheath which surrounds it has an extra capsid sheath of tail which is contractile in function and shape.
