Good morning or evening, everyone. Today, I, write ur name, am here to debate against the motion of ‘Homework should be abolished’. All of us want to score good marks. And when asked whether they would study at home a bit, then they’ll say no.
The children don’t want to do so. They would rather prefer to play or watch television rather than completing their homework and doing some self study. And most of the times this happens that instead of the children their parents compete the homework. Then what is the use of the homework. The teacher gives the homework so that in some way the child is able to revise the things taught in the class.
I don’t suggest that children get loads of homework so that it becomes a burden for them. But a little bit will help the children tremendously. A middle way of everything is best.

Homework has little educational worth and adds nothing to the time spent in school. Some schools and some countries don’t bother with homework at all, and their results do not seem to suffer from it. Studies show that homework adds nothing to standardised test scores for primary/ elementary pupils. International comparisons of older students have found no positive relationship between the amount of homework set and average test scores. If anything, countries with more homework got worse results!
