In F1 Generation phenotype is 3{tall}:1{short}.

And Genotype is 1:2:1 i.e 1-TT 2-Tt 1-tt.

The Punnett square predicts the ratio of genotypes in the offspring, based on the genotypes of the parents. If in the crossness of the plant in the F1 generation, one is a dominant one that is the T and other is a recessive one that is the t. After the first filial generation there is a genotype and phenotype. The phenotypic ratio is 1:2:1 and the genotype ratio is 3:1.
