The main purpose of the G7 summit is:

• It discusses the most essential & burning matters happening around the globe (economic, political, and social).

• Proper policies or solutions are laid down for ongoing issues.

• Also, matters related to energy policies, economic governance and international security are discussed by the representatives of the 7 countries viz., Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Japan, U. K and the U.S.
