Answer is 8.5 P°V°

Explanation:

W = Area under PV graph = 5/2 P°V°

◇U = nCv◇T = nCv [ T ( final ) -- T (initial) ]

T (initial) = 2 PoVo / nR

T (final) = 6 PoVo / nR

Cv = 3/2 R

hence , ◇U = 6 PoVo

Since , n = 1 ,

◇ Q = heat absorbed by the system = ◇U + W

= 5/2 PoVo + 6 PoVo

Answer = 17/2 PoVo
