The quadratic equation having 5 as the repeated root is ____.

solution:-

let both roots are equal to 5

of a quadratic eqn ax2+bx+ c=0

sum= 5+5= 10= -b/a

b/a=. - 10,....................(1)

product= 5×5=25= c/a

c/a= 25..,..............,..(2)

by (1) and 2()

if a= 1 then

b = -10

c= 25

therefore required eqn

=> -10x+25=0
