two roots...5 and -2

we know the general form of quadratic equation...

x² + (sum of zeros)x + product of zeros = 0

sum of zeroes =

sum \: of \: zeros \: = \alpha + \beta

sum of zeroes = 5 + (-2)

sum of zeroes = 3

product \: of \: zeroes \: = \alpha \times \beta

product of zeroes = 5 × (-2)

product of zeroes = - 10

put values of alpha and beta in the formula...

+ (3)x + (-10) = 0

+ 3x - 10 = 0
