correct question ==> x²-5x+6 = 0

here we will do mid term split

so,

x²- 5x + 6 = 0

x² - 3x - 2x +6 = 0

x(x-3)-2(x-3)

(x-2) (x-3)

Now, comparing given equation with the above

we get,

p = -2

q = -3
