Let us take alpha and beta be two zeroes of the polynomial has been taken with 2 and 4.

This should denotes with the sum of zeroes are 2 and 4 is 6 and product of zeroes are 2*4 is 8.

The required polynomial is p(x) = k[x^2 - (Sum of zeroes) + (product of zeroes)] is taken by 14.
