Given: Product of roots is 24 and 4 is one of the roots

To find: Quadratic polynomial p(x)

Explanation: Product of roots=24, 4 is one root

Other root can be found by dividing

24 by 4= 24/4=6

Sum of roots=6+4= 10

Now we know, Any quadratic polynomial is given by

 {x}^{2} - (sum \: of \:numbers)x + (product \: of \: numbers)

Therefore polynomial p(x) will be

 {x}^{2} - 10x + 24
