Scientific theories have to be proved and accepted and approved – takes many years-subject to peer review- Too much of dependence on peer acceptance might lead to delay in the utility?

Or--the more the resistance and crticism, better the final validity of the theories and facts

First of all, how do you define “the quality of knowledge”? Most definitions of knowledge include: facts, information, expertise and skills, based on observation, evidence, experience or education. Knowledge can be contained in a book or other media, there was once an encyclopedia called the Book of Knowledge. The quality of the knowledge could be measured by how well the information corresponds to current objective scientific or reasonably certain facts. Of course, as we make discoveries and create new inventions, once useful knowledge becomes obsolete and degrades in quality. The book: The Half-life of Facts explains why even the best knowledge has an expiration date.
I would never measure the quality of knowledge by how many people perceive it as fact. Some reasonably certain facts such as evolution and the Earth being spherical are accepted by the majority. However, many people also accept as fact that only Islam, Christianity, Hinduism or Buddhism is the one true religion. Knowledge is not something that is established or measured by opinion poll.
