The question is: If a-b = 4 and a + b = 6; find (1) a² + b² and (2) ab​

a-b=4______(1)

a+b=6______(2)

from 1 and 2 we get

2a=10

a=5

put a=5 in 2 we get

b=1

so ab=5×1=5

and a^2+b&2=(5)^2+(1)^2=25+1=26
