The question is:
If you have 100 percent and I give you 10 percent and take back 10 percent from you, how much will you have?

According to your question
I have 100% and you give me 10% that means now I have 110%, now you take 10% that means 110-11( as 10%of 110 is 11)
So, I have 99%.
