Answer :-

  • 30 is the answer.

Given :-

X = 16 and Y = 9

Find :-

  \rm(\sqrt{x + y})^{2}  -  \sqrt{x}  + y = ?

Solution :-

Here , we need just to put the value of x and y and then we need to simply .

Let's do :-

  \rm\hookrightarrow (\sqrt{16 + 9}) ^{2}  -  \sqrt{16}   \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow (\sqrt{4 \times 4 +3 \times 3}) ^{2}  -  \sqrt{4 \times 4}   \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow (4  +3 ) ^{2}  - 4 \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow ({4 ^{2}  +3 ^{2}  })   -  4   \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow ({4 \times 4  +3 \times 3})   -  4   \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow 16  +9   -  4   \:   +  9

  \rm\hookrightarrow \bf 30 \:  \star

 \therefore \rm \: \bf30 \: is \: the \: answer

Solution :-

→ √(x + y)² - √x + y

putting given values of x = 16 and y = 9 we get,

→ √(16 + 9)² - √16 + 9

→ √(25)² - √16 + 9

using √(a)² = a ,

→ 25 - √16 + 9

taking positive values ,

→ 25 - 4 + 9

→ 34 - 4

30 (Ans.)

taking negative values,

→ 25 - (-4) + 9

→ 25 + 4 + 9

38 (Ans.)
