(a). volume of cube=a^3

=2^3

=8cm^3

(b). increasing water level=volume of water+volume of cube

=L×B×H+8 cm^3

=15×8×5+8 cm^3

=608 cm^3

L×B×H=608

8×5×H=608

H×40=608

H=608÷40

H=15.2 cm

so, increased height=15.2-15

=0.2cm

hope it's helpful.................
