Length of cuboid (l) = 8 cm

Breadth of cuboid (b) = 5 cm

Height of water in cuboid (h1) = 11 cm

Volume of water (V1)= l × b × h1

= 8 × 5 × 11

= 440 cu. cm

Height of water after putting stone in it

(h2) = 14 cm

Volume of water (V2)= l × b × h2

= 8 × 5 × 14

= 560 cu. cm

Volume of stone = V2 - V1

= 560 - 440

= 120 cu. cm

Volume of stone is 120 cu. cm
