When we divide 5019 by 53 we get quotient 94 and remainder 37 .These means if we want same number of trees we should add 37 more saplings. He should bring 37 more trees

rewatiraman99pa79kj: I think he should bring 16 saplings more.

Answer:

37

Step-by-step explanation:

There are 5019 saplings.

School wants to plant trees in 53 rows

So, to get no. of trees in each row = \frac{5019}{53}

Since we know that Dividend = ( Divisor *Quotient )+Remainder

⇒5019 = 53*94 +37

Since the remainder is 37

So, he need to get 37 saplings more .

Hence he needs to bring at least 37 saplings so that each row has same number of trees
