Let one number be x

and the other be y

A/Q,

$\frac{x}{y} = 5 - - - - > (i) \\ x + y = 6 - - - - - > (ii) \\ = > x = 6 - y$

Putting x in (i)

$\frac{6 - y}{y} = 5$

$= > 6 - y = 5y \\ = > 6 = 5y + y \\ = > 6 = 6y \\ = > y = 6 - 6 \\ = > y = 0$

Now, putting y in (ii)

x+0=6

=>x=6
