The following are the repair works executed on Qutub Minar:
1. In the year 1326, the Qutub Minar was first hit by lightning by Mohammed-Bin Tughluq as he made attempts to renovate it.
2. Firoz Shah Tughluq in 1368 made attempts to hit a light on it by adding storeys to the tower.
3. After him, Sikander Lodi from 1498 to 1517 restored Qutub Minar.
4. The Qutub Minar met great damages in the year 1794 and Major Smith repaired this damage. He reconstructed pavilion installed by Firoz Shah Tughluq and laid his own pavilion.
5. Now seismic pointers and interlocking model of rocks check the building from destruction.
