Heya....

I think the radiation with highest wave number is Radio waves as they have the highest wavelength of all... For Sure

pallavimitra: which electomagnetic radiation
pallavimitra: micro waves or x rays or i.r rays or radiowaves
pallavimitra: frequency is directly proportional to wave length it seems

The radiation with highest wave number is γ-rays

  • The order of radiations in the increasing order of its wavelength is

            γ-rays < x-rays < U.V < Visible < Micro < Radio

  • The wave number is inversly proportional to its wavelength

              ν =  1/λ

  • The  order of radiations in the increasing order of their wave numbers is

            γ-rays > x-rays > U.V > Visible > Micro > Radio

  • γ-rays has the highest wave number among all the other radiation waves
