Let the volume of the original cylinder be: πr²h = V

If the radii is halved, height is tripled

New height = 3h

New radius = r/2

New volume = π × (\frac{r}{2})²  × 3h

==> 3/4 × πr²h

==> 3/4 × V.

Hence proved.
