the radii of circular ends of a bucket of depth 24 centimetre or 30 cm and 10 cm find cost of materials used to make the bucket if cost of material is Rupees 100 per 100 cm square​

Bucket is in the shape of a frustum of a cone with the upper circle open,

so,

Material used= Csa of frustum + area of small circle

here, R=30cm  and  r=10cm   h=24cm  cost= 100Rs per 100cm^2

now,   Slant height= √(R-r)² + h

--> √(30 - 10)² + 24

--> √400+24

--> l = √424cm

now,  π(R-r)l  +  πr²

--> 22/7(20) × √424  + 22/7 x 10 x 10

--> 4400√424 ÷ 7  +   2200÷7

--> 1971.147cm²

hence, cost= 1971 Rs (aprox)
