let the inner radius be r and external radius be R .
we have ,inner radius=r =3cm
external radius=R=5cm
radius of cylinder=d/2=r1=14cm/2=7
volume of shell=volume of cylinder
4/3×22/7×R^3-(4/3×22/7×r^3)=22/7r1^2×h
4/3(R^3-r^3)=7^2×h
4/3(5^3-3^3)=49h
4/3(125-27)=49h
4/3×98=49h
4/3×98/49=h
8/3=h
h=8/3cm
Hence height of cylinder=8/3cm

Anonymous: How 2 will come ?
Anonymous: U see there is a diameter not radius
Anonymous: r = 2/d
prajapatyk: thanku for reminding me
Anonymous: You're welcome but m also workout
prajapatyk: now is it correct
Anonymous: How u cancel 4/3×98/49=h
Anonymous: Yes m do it
