❍ Let r cm be the radius of the circle respectively.

 \\ \underline{\bigstar\boldsymbol{According\;to\;the\;given\;Question:}} \\

  • Here,we have r1 as 12 cm and r2 as 5 cm.Let us calculate the circumference of circle with radius1 and radius 2,So we will get the radius of sum of circumference of two circles.

Let's do it,

Therefore,

\\ \to\sf{Circumference \: of \: circle = 2\pi r} \\ \\ \to\sf{2\pi r = 2\pi r_{1} + 2\pi r_{2}} \\ \\ \to \sf{r = 12 + 5} \\ \\ \to \underline{\boxed{\frak{r = 17}}} \: \red{ \bigstar} \\ \\

Hence,

  • The radius of the circle is 17 cm(option c).
