GIVEN:-

Radius of 1st circle= r*1=8 cm

Radius of 2nd circle=r*2=6 cm

Let the radius of required circle= r cm

According to the question,

Area of required circle= Sum of the area of both the circles

Area of the first circle=π r*1^2

= π (8)^2

= π (8×8)

= 64 π

Area of the second circle= π r*2^2

= π (6)^2

= π (6×6)

= 36 π
