hey
__________

CSA of cylinder (1) / CSA of cylinder (2)

let radius and height of cylinder (1) be 3x and 2y

radius of cylinder (2) be 5x and height be 3y

•2π×3x×2y / 2π ×5x×3y

•CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

•hence ratio is 2:5

for calculation refer to the attachment

hope helped

Solutions :-

Given :
The radii of two cylinder are in the ratio of 3:5
and their height are in the ratio of 2:3

Find the ratio of their curved surface area :-

We know that,
Curved surface area of cylinder = 2πrh

(2 × 22/7 × 3 × 2)/(2 × 22/7 × 5 × 3)
= (3 × 2)/(5 × 3)
= 2/5
= 2 : 5

Hence,
The ratio of their curved surface area = 2 : 5
