The radii of two cylinders of the same height are in the ratio 4:5 , then find the ratio of their volumes.

Let the radius of the two cylinders be r1 and r2
r1/r2=4/5
Vol.of 1st cylinder /Vol.of2nd cylinder
=1/3pie r1 square h/ 1/3pie r2 square h
=r1 square/ r2 square
=4square /5 square
=16/25
r1/r2=4/5
Vol.of 1st cylinder /Vol.of2nd cylinder
=1/3pie r1 square h/ 1/3pie r2 square h
=r1 square/ r2 square
=4square /5 square
=16/25
