Solution:-

Given:-

radius_{1}:radius_{2} = 2:3

height_{1}:height_{2} =5 :3

To Find:-

  • Ratio of their volumes.

Formula:-

Volume \: of \: a \: right \: circular \: cylinder = \pi \: {r}^{2} h \\ (where \: r \: is \: radius \: and \: h \: is \: height \: of \: the \: circle)

By the Problem:-

volume_{1} :volume_{2} = \pi \: {( r_{1}) }^{2} h_{1} : \pi \: {( r_{2}) }^{2} h_{2} \\ = > volume_{1} :volume_{2} = {(2)}^{2} \times 5 : {(3)}^{2} \times 3 \\ = > volume_{1} :volume_{2} = 20 : 27

Answer:-

20:27
