The formula for the surface area of a sphere is
4πr^2
4 × π × r × r
r is the radius , ration to the radius = 1:2
let's take them as X and 2X
Ratio = division
Surface area of first sphere = 4πx^2
Surface area of second sphere = 4π4r^2
=> 16πr^2
Ratio = 4πr^2 ÷ 16πr^2
πr^2 will be cancelled ,
remaining = 4÷16
ratio = 1:4
