Answer ⇒ Non-Mechanical waves.

Explanation ⇒ What is mechanical and non-mechanical waves.

Mechanical waves are those which requires medium and non-mechanical waves are those which do not requires the medium to propagate and travel.

Non-mechanical waves or the sound waves or Optical waves of radio and TV Programmes, does not require a medium.

These waves travel from ground to satellites and then relayed back to our antenna. There is no medium in the space near the satellite.

Hope it helps.
