Radius of the cylinder (r)= 7cm.

Height of the cylinder (h) = 20cm.

Therefore Total surface area = 2πr(r+h)

= 2 × 22/7 ×7(7+ 20)cm^2.

= 2 × 22 × 27 cm^2.

=1188cm^2

Given that:

  • The radius and height of a cylinder are 7 cm and 20 cm.

To Find:

  • The total surface area of the cylinder.

Formula used:

  • TSA = 2πr(r + h)

Here,

  • TSA = Total surface area of a cylinder
  • r = Radius of a cylinder
  • h = Height of a cylinder

Finding the total surface area of the cylinder:

ㅤ↠ㅤTSA = 2π × 7(7 + 20)

ㅤ↠ㅤTSA = 14π × 27

ㅤ↠ㅤTSA = (14 × 22 × 27)/7

ㅤ↠ㅤTSA = 8316/7

ㅤ↠ㅤTSA = 1188

Hence,

  • The total surface area of the cylinder is 1188 cm².
