Given :

⬤ Radius and Height of Cylinder are in the Ratio 7:3 .

⬤ Volume of Cylinder is 12475 cm³ .

To Find :

⬤ Radius of Cylinder .

⬤ Height of Cylinder .

Formula Used :

\bf[\:{Volume \: of \: Cylinder = \pi{r}^{2}h}\:]

Solution :

Let :

  • Radius of Cylinder be 7x .
  • Height of Cylinder be 3x .

Now :

According to the Formula :-

12475 = πr²h

12475 = 22/7 × 7x × 7x × 3x

(12475 × 7) = 22 × 147x³

87325 = 3234x³

87325/3234 = x³

27 = x³

3 = x

Therefore , The Value of x is 3 .

Hence ,

Radius of Cylinder = 7x

= 7(3)

= 21

Height ot Cylinder = 3x

= 3(3)

= 9

Therefore , Radius of Cylinder is 21 cm and Height of Cylinder is 9 cm.
