The radius and slant height of a cone are in ratio 4:7. If its curved surface area is 792 cm^2 find its height.
(Radius and slant height along with curved surface area is given. The height of cone is needed not slant height.)

Let radius be 4x
Then, slant height = 7x...

CSA is π*r*l = 792

So, 28*x^2 = 36*7
Hence, x is 3....

So r = 12 cm and slant height = 21 cm.

l^2 = r^2 + h^2

So, h is 3√33 cm...
