Solution :

For the given cone ;

• Radii of the cone is 2 cm .

• Slant height of the cone is 6 cm .

The curved surface area of a cone is π r l

=> π × 2 × 6

=> 12 π cm²

=> 36.8 cm²

Answer : The curved surface area of the cone is 36.8 cm²

Additional Information :

Volume of a cone - ⅓ π r² h

Total surface area of a cone : π r l + π r²

Volume of a cylinder : π r²h

Lateral surface area of a cylinder - π r²h

Total surface area of a cylinder : 2 π r( h + r)

Given,

Radius = 2cm

Slant height = 6cm

CSA of Cone = πrl

=  \frac{22}{7}  \times 2 \times 6

=  \frac{44 \times 6}{7}

=  \frac{264}{7}

= 37.71 cm²
