The radius and the area of the total surface of a cylindrical container without lid are 14 centimeter and 1320 square centimeter respectively. Find the height and volume of the cotainer ?

total surface area of cylinder = 2πrh + πr^2

= πr (2h+r) cm sq.

here, r = 14cm

πr (2h+r) = 1320 cm sq.

π = 22/7

22/7*14 (2h + 14)= 1320

44 (2h + 14) = 1320

2h + 14 = 1320/44

2h + 14 = 30

2h = 16

h = 8 cm

volume of cylinder = πr^2 h

22/7*14*14*8

= 44*14*8

= 44*112

= 4928 cm cube
