The radius of a cart wheel is 70 cm . How many revolution that does it make in travelling a distance of 132 m

Solution :-

Given :

r = 70 cm , Distance travelled = 132 m .

 \small{therefore \: circumference \: of \: a \: cart \: wheel \: = 2\pi r}

 = 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 70

 = 440 \: cm

Distance travelled = Number of revolutions X Circumference

 \small{therefore \: number \: of \: revolution \: = \frac{distance \: \: traveled}{circumference} }

 = \frac{132 \: m}{440 \: cm}

 = \frac{13200 \: cm}{440 \: cm} \: (1m = 100cm, \: 132m = 13200cm)

 = 30

Therefore , Number of revolutions = 30
