the radius of a cicular field is 20m . Inside it run a path 5 m wide all around. find the area of the path (Take π=22/7)j

Here are the two circles of radii 20m, 15m  (=20-5).

area of the path

= area of outer circle - area of inner circle                      

   = 22/7 * ( 20^2 - 15^2)              

    = 22/7 * (400 - 225 )

     = 22/7 * (175)                        

       = 550 sq. m
