HEYA MATE

HERE IS UR ANSWER

RADIUS =1CM

PUT VALUE

πR^2

22/7*1

=22/7CM^2

OR

3.14CM^2

SO AREA OF CIECLE IS

22/7cm^2

OR

3.14CM^2

HEYA MATE YOU ALSO REMEMBER

MORE FORMULAS RELATED TO CIRCLE .

SUCH AS

  • AREA OF CIRCUMFERENCE = R
  • AREA OF SEGMENT = πR^2(Φ)\360°
  • AREA OF MAJOR SEGMENT = πR^2(Φ-360°) \360°

Given,

Radius = 1cm

Now, we know that =>

Area of a circle is πr^2

=>Area of circle = π × (1)^2

=>Area of circle = 22/7 cm^2 or 3.14cm^2

So, the area of the given circle will be πcm^2 or 3.14cm^2 or 22/7cm^2.

Remember

1)A Circle is a collection of points in which the points are equidistant from a particular point.

2)Area of circle = πr^2

3) The circumference of a circle = 2πr

4)Area of Sector of the circle

={A/360°}× π×r^2.

where A is the measure of the angle.

Also while finding the area of the circle take care that to take the value of pi in according to the value and until it is specified in the book itself since pi is an irrational no. so the value needs to be taken care of.

5)Area of segment

= Area of the circle - Area of sector

=πr^2 - [{A/360°}× π×r^2]
