Given to find the distance of the chord
radius =17 and length of the coard=30
draw a circle like i drawn in the above diagram

1. now AP=PB
2.so AP=15 cm
3. OAP forms a right angle triangle
4. by using phytogras theorm we can find OP
5. which is 17square-15 square=OP square
