Let r and a be the radius and area of small circle and R and A be the radius and area of large circle ...

r =2m

a = π r² = 4π

A = π R² = 9a

⇒ π R² = 9(4π)

⇒ π R² = 36 π

⇒ R² = 36

⇒ R = √36 = 6m

.

Hope it helps you...
