The radius of a circle is 3.5 cm find it's circumference and area ​

Answer:

circumference 2πr= 2×22/7×3.5=22cm

area πr²= 22/7×3.5 ×3.5=38.5cm

Formulas used in this solution :-

1) Circumference of circle = 2πr

2) Area of circle = πr^2

Given :-

Radius = 3.5 cm

π = 3.14 or 22/7

Solution :-

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Circumference of circle = 2 * 22/7 * 3.5

Circumference of circle = 22cm

Area of circle = πr^2

Area of circle = 22/7 * 3.5 * 3.5

Area of circle = 38.5 cm
