Given two circle radii are 5 cm and 12 cm

Then area of circle 5 cm =πr

2

=π(5)

2

=25π sq cm

And area of circle radius 12 cm =πr

2

=π(12)

2

=144πsq cm

So area of circle whose area equal to sum of rheas two circle=25π+144π=169π sq cm

Let the radius of sum circle =R cm

∴πR

2

=169π⇒R

2

=169⇒R=13 cm
