area of road = area of outer circle -area of inner circle
area =22/7*110*110- 22/7*100*100
for cost multyply the area by 20

The area of the road is 1039340 sq.m. and the cost of levelling is Rs.20786800

Step-by-step explanation:

Radius of circular garden r = 100 m

There is a road 10 m wide , running all around it

So, Outer radius R = 100+10 = 110 m

Area of road = Outer area - Inner area

Area of road = \pi R^3 - \pi r^3

Area of road = 3.14(110^3-100^3)

Area of road = 1039340 sq.m.

Cost of leveling 1 sq.m. = Rs.20

Cost of leveling 1039340 sq.m. = 1039340 \times 20 = rs.20786800

Hence The area of the road is 1039340 sq.m. and the cost of levelling is Rs.20786800
