Given,

Radius (r) = 28m

Cost = Rs 50 per meter

Find,

Cost for 4 rounds

Solution,

We need to recall the concept that four rounds around means we need to first find the circumference of the circular garden.

Circumference of circle = 2*π*r

We are given a radius of 28cm and the value of π is 22/7

Circumference of circle = 2*π*r

                                        = 2*(22/7)*28

                                        =176 m

Now we need to go around the circle 4 times so circumference should be multiplied by 4

=176*4

=704 m

Coming to the concept of cost,

Finding the cost

Rs 50 for 1 m

For 704 m multiply it with 50

=704*50

= Rs 35200

Hence the cost of four rounds around this garden is Rs 35200.

Given,

radius of garden, r = 28 m

rate of covering the garden = Rs 50 per meter

To find,

Cost of four rounds around the garden = ?

Solution,

The perimeter of the circle is,

perimeter or circumference area = 2πr

                                                               = 2 × π × 28 meters

                                                               = 175.9 meters ≈ 176 meters

The area covered for 4 rounds = 176 × 4

                                                   =  704 meters

Cost of 1 meter = Rs 50

∵Cost of 704 meters = Rs 50 × 704

                                   = Rs  35,200

Hence the cost of covering four rounds of the garden is Rs 35,200.
