Given :

  • Radius of the circular pipe = 10 cm

To Find :

  • The length of the tape required to wrap once around the circular pipe

Solution :

In this case ,

  • The length of the tape required to wrap once around the pipe is equal to circumference of the pipe.

Circumference of a circle is given by , 2πr.

  • Here , r is radius of the circle

Substituting the values we have in the formula ,

→ Circumference of the circular pipe = 2 × 3.14 × 10 cm

→ Circumference of the circular pipe = 62.8 cm

Hence ,

  • The length of the tape required to wrap around the cicular pipe of radius 10 cm is 62.8 m

★Given-

Radius of the circular pipe = 10 cm

★To Find-

The length of the tape required to wrap once around the circular pipe

✧ Solution-

The length of the tape required to wrap once around the pipe is equal to circumference of the pipe.

Circumference of a circle = 2πr.

Here , r is radius of the circle

Substituting the values we have in the formula ,

Circumference  = 2 × 3.14 × 10 cm

                           = 62.8 cm

∴The length of the tape required to wrap around the circular pipe of radius 10 cm is 62.8 m
