The radius of a circular pipe is 5cm. what length of tape is required to wrap twice round the pipe?(take π =3.14)

This is your answer.....

Given ::::
Radius of pipe = 5 cm.

If we wrap ... then it means that we cover the circumference...

So circumference = 2πr
= 2 × 3.14 × 5
= 10 × 3.14
= 31.4 cm.

But according to the question....

The tape is to be wrapped twice.....
so...

= 2 × 31.4
= 62.8 cm.

Hence the length of tape required is 62.8 m.
