AnswEr:

  • 44 cm

GivEn:

  • Radius of circular pipe = 7 cm

To find:

  • Length of a tape required to wrap once around the pipe?

Solution:

According to the Question:

  • Length of a tape required to wrap around the pipe = Circumference of circular pipe

We know that,

Circumference of circle = 2πr

Therefore,

→ 2 × 22/7 × 7

→ 2 × 22

44 cm

Hence, Length of a tape required to wrap once around the pipe is 44 cm.

More To know:

  • Area of Circle = πr²

  • TSA of cylinder = 2πr(r + h)

  • CSA of cylinder = 2πrh

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h
